6990WitherslackHall
Class 37/0 37075 stabled at Haworth loco sheds on the KWVR yesterday (04/02/23). Keeping the 37 company are Class 144 'Pacer' 144011 and L&YR Class 25 0-6-0 52044, whose chimney is just visible between the two.
6990WitherslackHall
A slightly rubbish photo of Class 37/2 37218 stabled in the sidings opposite platform 11 at York yesterday (04/02/23). My phone's camera doesn't work that well in the dark and struggles to focus. This was the best I got.

I wonder if Accurascale or Bachman have tooled that variation?!?

eastwestdivide
The old hauling the new: a 1960s loco (37418) with a 1980s large BR logo plus Highland Stag, and a 2020s Loram headboard taking some ?new/refurbished/rebuilt? wagons from Derby to Gascoigne Wood this morning. Are they those Railtrack/Network Rail side tipping wagons rebuilt, as at https://paulbartlett.zenfolio.com/mra? There's a lot of yellow between the bogies which you wouldn't necessarily expect on a simple box wagon. Ben B
More from my archive of KWVR shots, and a summers day in 2019. I was off on the train with my youngest who was on an inset day, and was a bit surprised to find the 4F being piloted by 37075. When we got to Keighley, it detached, and a pair of visiting 37's arrived. Much shunting around saw large-logo 37025 and Colas-liveried 37521 collect it for a main-line run. From memory the KWVR-based machine was going off for a bogie swap, donating its high-speed-ready equipment to a mainline-registered loco. 37521 a bit earlier than the above shot, with 37075 looking like it's on a pick-up goods in the sidings. An interesting meet-up :)
