Little & Large  - Dickie Dockerill looks at stock modeling in 2mm and 7mm.

Iconic Trains - From the APT-P to the POP train to the prototype HST, Shane Wilton (Wolf27) shows how scratch building and modifications of existing RTR stock can be put to good use to model iconic trains of the 70s

3D Printing Workshop - Martin McDermott (Pugsley) shows how to design models for 3D printing and what is possible with this exciting new manufacturing technique.

Electronic Cutting - Jon Hall explains how to design artwork for electronic cutting and shows how this can be put to good effect when making wagons.

Must dig out my "here's one I made earlier" DBSO/RTOV project. I have three bodies in various stages of work to highlight the various steps.

Cheers,

Mick

Looking forward to the long slog up and down in a Luton van!! Come and chat to the SDEG lads at Hazelbank where we can promise you plenty of thrash action from pairs of 17s early on Saturday morning all the way to a pair of sound fitted Blue grey HSTs on Sunday afternoon. With a lot of rattly BRCW Type 2s in between!! (photo courtesy of Nigel Burkin)

If anyone is driving and hoping to oark at the Town Hall please note that there will be no parking at the Town Hall as the Council in their wisdom are building on the car park.  There is free parking on the streets round the Town Hall and cheap parking at the Travelodge (2 car parks), or even better head to the National Brewery Centre first where there is parking (and overspill relatively close by).

Alternatively relax and let the train take the strain (!) and use the free shuttle bus between the venues and the station.

Cheers, Mike

Wow, I didn't know that.

To the best of my knowledge (I'm sure I read it in the paperwork from the NBC last week), admission to Showcase gives you admission to the rest of the NBC as well, so it should be included!

Guy

P.S. There is a big P4 version of Burton in the Town Hall!

There is on the DEMU forum but you have to be a member to access it Andy. Guy (Lyneux) posted it yesterday. Id be happy to attach the PDF if I'm allowed to ?

Used to be a member, but not enough going on in my modelling era.

Still supporting the event since though..................

Just a heads up that online advance ticket sales will close this evening at 6pm (ie the last time that I will have access to a printer before the show).

After that you will have to join the throngs of people (well at least 2 people and a small dog) queuing for tickets!

Cheers, Mike
