Fabulous post Mikkel and very apt as I've just bought the Chivers kit for the LNER pigeon van.
Nice shadows in those photos too.Classy.

Beautiful work Sierd.I can't decide which of the three I like the best.

Lovely work. What load will it have or will it run empty.

Nice project Rich. Will you be cutting the bodies before affixing the sides or after to account for the different window positions on the brass sides.
-
Looking very good so far Rich and a nice addition to your roster.
-
I'm really pleased you got this sorted Al.What glue is recommended for use with lead shot then to avoid the swelling problem encountered.
It might be worth mentioning to Andrew of Comet the motor use recommendation so he can advise new builders of this chassis.

A beautiful scene enhanced with those little details that although are time consuming and damn frustrating at times make it more believable and classy.

Yes with a bit of work these can turn out quite nice but if I buy another I would probably fit the rear etch from Brassmasters. It looks straight forward to do.

Nice work Ian.I spent some money on a couple of trees off the Ceynix stand including an armature very much like yours which I'll add Heki foliage. Just the job.
-
Your ears were probably burning over the weekend as gwrrob and I chatted quite a bit about Farthing.
Yes we were and this work shews exactly what we meant.Outstanding work.
-
Superb work as usual Al and I particularly look forward to hearing the full saga of your Dean Goods build.I'm glad to see it running.

A great post Al.Fabulous modelling all round and how I nodded at your Grange remark.I just wish Hornby would do a run in postwar livery.Lovely looking brown stock too.

Fabulous Mikkel.Everything you do seems to do exudes class.I liked that quote at the end.

The key is wetting the ballast with a mist sprayer, then the pva/water mix flows better using a syringe to apply it.It shouldn't float the ballast.
