RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted December 27, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 27, 2016 Unfortunately I've deleted the emails as parcel has been delivered, and they've been wiped from my trash as well, but I *think* the dispatch email actually came from UKMail when they picked up the parcel. As I ordered last Friday I wasn't expecting the free dispatch to happen until after Xmas so guess I was very lucky, but am pretty certain it was UKMail that (in effect) told me it was dispatched. Steamport Southport
Cant see why Hornby would want stock back, as none of it in their xmas sale I agree.. Load it into a van at each and every store and send it all back to Hornby? That would cost more than the stock is worth. As I said earlier they would just write it off as a loss. RMweb Gold The Fatadder Posted December 28, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 28, 2016 But if Hornby have decided that one retailer dumping stock at below trade price is bad for the market as a whole, they may still prefer to do that (or more likely prefer that it's scrapped instead and just dumped in the stores skip.)
