But it says GWR on the side!!! Need we say more?

It's a strange livery seeing the prototype was scrapped in 1911.

Mine must have cost about a fiver!

There's another one here

and another for charity

A bit of a strange jump from £7.59 to £30.00???????????????????

That bidder was 'saved' by someone else bidding 31 pounds. Probably much relieved after pressing the wrong button.

Now I was wondering when one of these would show up:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/K-s-00-BR-S-Merchant-Navy-loco-kit-/130709089565

This was the kit where Keyser got confused by the firebox angles, and made the casting wider at the back instead of at the front!

A bit of a strange jump from £7.59 to £30.00???????????????????

Somebody worked out what the top proxy bid was.

TRI-ANG RAILWAYS No.R620 GWR SHORT CLERESTORY COACH "ENGINEER'S DEPT No.20 "

http://www.ebay.co.u...EERS-DEPT-No-20

Unboxed £49.95 :O

Better get my boxed one on sale

So "MEGA rare" that he has 2 of them!. I got one as part of a job lot - unfortunately it's covered with a thick layer of red paint that stubbornly resists removal, so preventing it being converted into something useful (in chocolate and cream of course!)

"Set is as seen in the box, train says "Princess Elizabeth" and has the number 42601. The tender says Western Railways."

Can't be that MEGA rare, as I have 2 as well. Admittedly mine aren't in that good a nick as that one.

The first one is it O gauge? and the second is a box of rubbish by the looks of it! :scratchhead:

It looks like an very unfortunate Lima 0 gauge mineral wagon. I would agree with the "box of rubbish".

Ignore this one! This is the common version!

http://www.ebay.co.u...5#ht_500wt_1362

The rare version has the later (BR) high opening. (That is if you are interested in errors - Meccano obviously needed some GW cattle wagons but had run out of the old stampings/ the tool was knackered.

The misregistered printing is also quite common! Apart from this, It's not a bad example, but there should be a box for this sort of money.

The same seller has the correct item at a slightly lower starting price!

Even gostude gets in on the act! (I'll leave you to decide whether a torn/missing flap merits "Crisp, factory fresh box."
