Good God, I didn't realise the Bachmann Nd were over £100 now. I got most of mine second-hand for £30-40 each. 7mm modelling is looking cheaper by the day.

Scary, innit? I think the days of a loco for under £100 are gone until I'm prime minister.

Are Bachmann still selling their "Rough Shunt on the North Cornwall Line Special Edition" at that price?

And do they still try and fob folk off that this wasn't a manufacturing problem and only issuing replacement footplates to only the most persistent? Not an easy job either removing all the parts from a cast footplate and putting them on another.

Ducky,

Regarding the vile image of the injured Bulleid above;

Report to Grayson in the boot room, 3 o'clock after English on Monday next, for a thrashing. Bring your own ointment.

Miss Agutter is not amused.

Disappointed of Cardiff.
