What would be the cost of paying by Postal Order! He accepts those as a form of payment. Will post world wide but not to Asia or South Africa. That narrows it down a bit. Would have thought that for nigh on a grand he would offer free postage. Bernard

Horsetan
I know that replica PCVs actually ARE rare, but this still takes the biscuit. This one is "Totally rare". ....as opposed to "medium rare"?

"would be found on any line at nearly any time in the modelled steam era. Whatever your layout, this hard-working loco will fit right in". I hope the owners of all those ECML based layouts are watching the auction closely!

I should sell the two versions I have in a similar state. £49 is looking a bit of a bargain, it's just sold for £78 with £14 postage

darren01
HMG £78.00 for a smashed up 47! and £14 .00 for Economy Delivery that's not economy in my book, is this 47 so rare it can command that sort of price
Il Grifone
It's £12 now so looks like a typo Sold for £10! I note the seller says he has 8 of them. That would be 8 more than the GWR had! (There's a slight similarity to a thirties' diagram, but nothing like this existed in 1880 - 1906. - to be pedantic (as usual) the livery is actually early 1900s and should have black beading and brown ends and the coach is a third not a composite however it's marked)

backwaterscotland
I know the Lima Strathclyde 101s were rare but £500 : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rare-Lima-Class-101-DMU-Strathclyde-Transport-101691-/160558145739?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item256202e0cb I do love the deceptive advertising as well : This class 101 model variant has not been offered for sale on ebay for many years, the last example finishing at £360 back in 2006. It could be a long time before another becomes available. He didn't notice this one that I thought was overpriced at £199 then? : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LIMA-CL-101-691-STRATHCLYDE-SCOTRAIL-LIVERY-LTD-ED-NEW-/190504417162?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item2c5af2b78a Andy B)
