TomScrut
My D9009 turned up today. Very pleased with it. Not something I was looking forward to as much as some of you given it's a bit more of an impulse purchase, but it is a really good model that gets me even more excited for the 37 and 92 (which are more my era of interest) One chain off, which was a bit of a nightmare reattaching as the chain detached from the bracket thingy too and I lost paint off it putting it back. It will be OK though but it will be interesting to see how these get on with age. One question I haven't seen asked though. Has anyone successfully driven one using the Lokprogrammer cab? Mine programs fine but shorts the Lokprogrammer when I click GO. My Z21 drives it fine and it doesn't short so I think it's possibly something to do with the stay alive and the Lokprogrammer's sensitivity. Edit, now it has had some running in on the main layout the Lokprogrammer does drive it so 🤷♀️ Edited June 29, 2022 by TomScrut
Tony Walker
As per Fran's request, here's a short video on D9009 Alycidon on Northern Belle rail tour. 5
Northmoor MPD
After a long wait my Alycidon D9009 arrived today! Arrived home from work, opened it faster than a kid at Christmas… But unfortunately looks like it’ll be going back 😭 The body sides and roof look great but the nose ends have paint chips on the headlight, some marks in the yellow and a couple of detail bits either loose or fallen off (Which I’d be happy to put back on myself if I had to) Such a shame but I have no doubt Accurascale / Locomotion will put it right! Will fire off an email in the morning, hopefully they have some spare body shells 🤞 1

Will fire off an email in the morning, hopefully they have some spare body shells 🤞 Oh no! I'm really sorry to see the images - thats not great. I've received one of the Locomotion D9002 models and mine has similar issues - one chain detached, both the mounting points on the body on that side are yellow and have lost all the black paint, two sets of under buffer steps missing (not in the box when carefully opened on a tray) and paint flaking off the cup like pieces on the front end in of the tail lights (not sure what these are), but the yellow paint is flaky and has come off one of them completely leaving just the yellow plastic part. I've also got a chip on the high intesity headlight casing in the yellow. I know that individually they are not massive issues, but its dissapointing with the high expectations that have been set that there are a few of them when the rest of the loco seems so well put together. I've fed back to Locomotion and they are sorting it for me which is great service from them (Stuart). Edited June 29, 2022 by adamvb 1

Popular Post Wolf27
I was running my green D9002 model today when I had a minor derailment and appear to have lost one of the bogie chains. Disappointing to see they resorted to the early 2000s approach of just spraying **** over it for the weathered edition ;)

RMweb Gold Bucoops Posted June 29, 2022 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 29, 2022 I keep toying with the idea of a Crepello. I have a green pre-tops and a blue post-tops so it would be the middle as it were. So can people please buy them all before I go another step closer to bankruptcy 🤣 2 3
