Is there a picture of the box anywhere ? (I recall seeing it a while back but think it got lost), but seem to recall it was the size and weight of a Breeze block ?

Easy, let herself sign for it and then ask her if it's light enough to be a new loco or that pack of wallfiler you ordered.

Hidden in full view.

C’mon Guys…..

Feel for me, ive got 12 of these to hide….

original plan was to swap them 1:1 for Bachmann ones thinking it would be net zero space.

Fillers not going to do it, I’m gonna need a bigger excuse…

Almost as interestingly, is that a GWR First Class seat from a scrap HST trailer? (I'm going GWR given the sign above).

The box is bigger than I was anticipating.

I have some overseas work/family commitments ill-timed with the arrival of the Deltics, and was planning on taking one of them with me and a couple of Bachmann Mk2s for some playtime while on the road. I'm now reconsidering how this will work given the size of the box.... my carry-on duffle will just be full of Deltic, with little room for the accompanying airside-obtained whisky... (because what could be better than a noisy 55 and a wee dram!), to say nothing of laptop, emergency clothing [1] etc etc!

I digress. its a lovely item in a lovely box

[1] never check all your clothing, I learned the hard way (to put you in the picture, seat of trousers gave way on flight, jumper tied round waist during transit, luggage delayed at destination at 2am arrival, presentation at 9am... long night with sewing kit).
