My suggested improvement relates to 'my orders' .  Would it be possible for the orders (and pre orders) to show the item orderd without having to view the order?  That would make finding a specific order a lot easier.

That is how it works at the moment.

"Live / pending" orders are highlighted, and every order shows the thumbnails of it's contents

That's exactly what I meant, however this is what I get on the EU site. (using Android)

Aha! yes indeed the accura EU and Irm uk sites have been deprecated and consolidated into the primary websites now so didn’t get that upgrade. Drop support a line if you want your orders moved over?

Disappointed on two counts…….

Firstly I would have preferred to see a Green SYP class 31 with sound - which I would have ordered right away, and...

If I understand their history correctly, the green SYP loco is, technically speaking, a class 30 (original cr@p Mirrlees engine) and not a class 31 (re-engined with an English Electric engine).  As there are no extant class 30s, there is nothing from which to take a sound recording.  Hence no sound fitted option.  I'm not sure if any were re-engined while still in green.  Can anybody confirm or deny the existence of green SYP class 31s?

Which one…

seems to cover 1968-2023

None of those fit the OP's "plain old, nothing unusual banger blue 31/4" description, though.

Not that I mind, personally, as I've just ordered 31402 which is a lovely tripcock fitted variation 😋

I’m definitely missing something…

Tripcock, not to be funny, is a few bits of easily removed plastic off the bogie, is it not ?

402 is in fairly early condition with non-sealed doors, 432 late with the cantrail stripe. No late 70s / early 80s 31/4 have been announced yet (without a white stripe).

yeah I think thats the one I'd really want, not sure the choices announced really do anything for me. 402 too early, 409 with the white stripe must be late 70s or early 80s and 432 had a central headlight and orange cantrail stripe so would have to be a good bit later unless I'm missing something. I think its really a bog-standard grotty 31/4 I'd be wanting from late 80s/early 90s.

I think weve each got a different definition of a bog standard blue 31.

This is mine.., all taken 1989 -1991.

Manchester Victoria, as a 31/5 its pretending its not a passenger loco, but we all know its only here to operate the 5pm Blackpool.

unidentified pair at Birmingham New Street (I suspect its to Norwich or Cambridge, as I rode it to Peterborough), only to pick them up again on the reverse (see Below).

(Note, no headlights on any of them, but Cantrails and plated headcodes on them all ).

I’m suspecting what your thinking is 31302 here… full buffer beams, glass dominos, pre headlight & cantrail….

This picture is 1985…

All i’m missing here is 31413 Severn Valley Railway.

My current Blue 31 fleet fills this gap, all with Lima, 31402 / 31468, a 31256 from Hornby, supported with a Lima 31002, and 31413 of course. I agree more 31’s are needed, all my Lima are still safe, but I have ordered a couple of A/S 31432’s, its been 30 years but its progress.

That's almost certain.  Russ 'Sacko' Saxton's excellent book 'BR: From Green To Blue' states 'D5649 remained the only (blue) example until D5857 opened the flood in 1967.'  I believe the conversion programme began in 1965 and full yellow ends on green weren't really a thing until 1968, so logic suggests that there would have been a good many running in GSYP with new power units in the years 1965-69.

They are nearly all too late for me with my 1985 cut-off. The last picture is perfect, just not a 31/4!

Yep, plain blue, no special adornments of any kind is what I'm after. 31 402 almost fits the bill, except that it's got a headcode, tripcock, and wrong nose doors(?) for early to mid 1980s. 31 432 has the orange cantrail stripe, a pet hate of mine.

Surely not? With Accurascale anything seems possible...

Just one in NR yellow will be nice though even if the extra lights don’t work.

Can I add a request for some Yellow ones! I’ve already sold up my Hornby Yellow ones in anticipation. After I saw this line in the description of the other announced models, “Extra cab front details for Network Rail locomotives” so now I’m just waiting to hit an order button that’s not live yet 😑😔

I wouldn’t be able to resist any other modern image additions either…

I am sure one (or more) will turn up one day, along with another skinhead.

The central headlight must date 31 432 to being much later nevermind the orange cantrail stripe and its something thats very visible.

I'm surprised there's only one offered in Railfreight Large Logo grey, but its a skinhead

I would second that, we all know yellow sells 😁

I'm sure it wont be long until its covered by the AC team - if anyone can cover all bases its Accurascale (& get the correct detail differences correct for each individual loco too!) 😃

Using flickr as a guide,
31432 Got its Orange cantrail over winter 1986/ by March 1987.

Headlight was visible sometime between February and July 1991

Agree skinheads are a curse, Hornby is obsessed with that tooling.

Its nice to have the option of Skinheads, obviously there were some of them around and I have a Hornby 31110 already, but I'm probably cutting down on quantity to focussing more on quality these days and 31s are more 'nice to have' than 'essential' for the area and era I model so especially if I'm spending the money on sound fitted Accurascale models I think I'm wanting more of the 'everyday' locos rather than 'celebrity' or ones that stand out.

Had the railfreight large logo model been a production run rather than skinhead I'd have snapped one up or 31432 not had its headlight I'd have gone for that and possibly even both.

But I might just have to pass on this production run and wait to see what the next run(s) hold :(

I would think the best sellers will be unrefurbrished BFYE and GFYE as there hasn't been a decent model of these variants ever. GFYE with double arrows would be great too. The only RTR model I've ever seen in this livery is the Heljan 15
